The Dann family have farmed over 700 acres in the village of North Tuddenham for four generations. Surrounded by fields and in the heart of rural Norfolk, North Tuddenham makes an idyllic location for the home of a large farming family. The farm has two free range poultry sites and one dairy unit, with a herd of over 100 pedigree Holstein-Friesian cows. Free range eggs are collected daily, the dairy herd are milked twice daily and other locally produced foods are regularly delivered to guarantee that the freshest products are used to make the ice cream and sorbet the highest possible standard.

Two minutes down the road from the dairy and poultry sites situated in the heart of the village is Pound Farm, this is where the ice cream is made. It is made in a recently converted farm building. The whole family helps with the day to day running of the parlour including making the ice cream by a unique hand made process. The special process allows milk to go from cow to delicious freshly frozen ice cream in under an hour! Where possible other local ingredients, such as fresh fruit are used. When making the ice cream and sorbet, much care is taken to ensure that it is made without using added preservatives, artificial additives and colourings.
